Layla & Majnun
Layla and Majnun is a tragic love story of a young girl and boy who fall in love in school. When Qays and Layla grow up their families are unable to reach a mutual agreement thus Layla’s father does not give consent for them to marry. Qays becomes obsessed with Layla, and the community gives him the epithet Majnun (possessed). Layla is forced to marry a wealthy man who later dies due to severe depression caused by Layla's neglect. Upon his death, Majnun comes to Layla, but her life is cut short and she dies suddenly. Majnun weeps nonstop on her grave until he too dies of grief.
