A design inspired by the pomegranate flower (the provenance of pomegranate plant is Persia), the root of this pattern goes back to ancient Persia and Achaemenian era. In Persian culture pomegranate is a holy and miraculous fruit and its pattern in Persian carpets is reminiscent of the gardens of Persian paradise.
